They had agreed to meet, but he never showed up. Maybe he had simply forgotten, or maybe he wasn’t as thoughtful as she had hoped. While she waited, her mind wandered, and she started to imagine ways she could show her disappointment. Her thoughts drifted so far that she even wondered if she should never have given him a chance at all. In the end, it didn’t really matter, because it was only in her imagination.
