Le Ménage Moderne De Madame Butterfly (c. 1910) – Restored in 4K Rare Early Erotic Silent Film
Le Ménage Moderne de Madame Butterfly is a rare early 20th century erotic silent film believed to date from around 1910. The film blends exotic imagery inspired by the popular opera Madama Butterfly with some of the earliest erotic moving images ever produced. Certain sequences are considered among the earliest known examples of bisexual representation in cinema. This version has been carefully restored and reimagined in 4K by filmmaker Antonio Adamo, using surviving film elements. The restoration preserves the atmosphere of early silent cinema while enhancing clarity and stability for modern viewing. Restoration and reimagining by Antonio Adamo.
